Antoni Ogumoro is a collegiate football player whose journey is rooted in family, culture, and community. Through athletics, Antoni is committed to using his platform to inspire youth and create opportunities that extend beyond the field.

FOOTBALL JOURNEY

Antoni’s football journey began his sophomore year of high school after years of playing basketball, when his head coach, Jonathan Byrd, encouraged him to give football a chance. What started as a new challenge quickly became a passion for the game.

He first made his mark on the defensive side of the ball at defensive end and tight end, using his physicality and relentless effort. That same mean streak eventually led him to the offensive line, where he found his home in the trenches protecting teammates and imposing his will on opponents.

Now an offensive lineman at the University of Tennessee, Antoni continues a journey built on discipline, work ethic, and team first values. His collegiate experience has shaped his leadership and strengthened his desire to give back to the communities that supported him, fueled by genuine love for the game.

Family and service are central to Antoni’s mission. Inspired by his younger brother Troy, Antoni is passionate about creating inclusive spaces where children of all abilities feel welcomed, supported, and encouraged.

His involvement in youth initiatives reflects a belief that sports can be a powerful tool for confidence building, connection, and personal growth.

Ballin for Autism is an inclusive youth football camp hosted by Antoni that brings together neurotypical children and children with special needs in a safe, supportive environment. The camp focuses on skill development, teamwork, and community inclusion.
